Jesus Has the Words of Everlasting Life

Compassion of Jesus

When I first began “inspirational writing”  for the angels, they asked me to post about the Gospels on Sundays. With love and gratitude , I surely do. Here is The Gospel of John 6:60-69 with a (channeled) loving message behind it.

Many of Jesus’ disciples who were listening said,
“This saying is hard, who can accept it?”
Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this
he said to them, “Does this shock you?
What if you were to to see the Son of Man ascending
to where he was before? It is the Spirit that gives life,
while the flesh is of no avail.
The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and Life.
But there are some of you who do not believe.”
Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe
and the one who would betray him.
And he said,
“For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me
unless it is granted him by my Father.”
As a result of this,
many of his disciples returned to their former way of life
and no longer accompanied him.
Jesus said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?”
Simon Peter answered him, ” Master, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life.
We have come to believe
and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”

Jesus is always present in the Eucharist. Here, all of the disciples were being offered the Eucharist for the first time. The Twelve, knowing fully that Jesus was the ever living Son of the Most High- received Him in full presence. This insight was given to them through the Holy Spirit who helped them recognize Jesus as the One Divine Son of God the Father who sent him. Jesus was speaking Words of Eternal Life, which was not recognized by some, but was offered to everyone. As it is now. The Loving Presence of God Almighty, the Divine Son of God and the Holy Spirit are present in the Eucharist today. When we receive him in Spirit, Body and Blood, we are saying that we recognize that Jesus has the Words of Eternal Life, that He is still present in the Eucharistic Feast we are all called to. We can all celebrate the Eucharistic Feast as it is offered every Sunday, and daily (in today’s time)- for Christ is Risen! Follow the Risen Lord daily by reading His Gospel messages, His insight, His Word. Act on the scripture you read daily and incorporate the Word into your own spiritual values, principals, and the way of life. Walk in Communion, lead with enthusiasm, serve with humility, honor with devotion, love with all of your heart. Gifts are given without measure from God Almighty and are meant to be used to serve God and one another with devotion, as instruments- to Glorify the One who sent Jesus Christ, now and always.

Receive Him in your heart every day by asking, “Jesus , Divine Son of God the Father, Holy Savior, I open my heart to receive you now and always. Please be with me in my heart. Help me to know you , to recognize you fully , in myself, in others, and  within the Eucharist. May my heart be open to the Goodness you and the Father offer as One. You have the Words of Ever lasting life.”
