Everyone Who Belongs to the Truth Listens To My Voice

The Solemnity Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Awhile back, the angels encouraged me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospel Readings- Here is the Gospel of John 18:33b-37- with a loving message behind it

Pilate said to Jesus,
“Are you the King of the Jews?”
Jesus answered, “Do you say this on your own
or have others told you about me?”
Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I?
Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me.
What have you done?”
Jesus answered, “My kingdom does not belong to this world.
If my kingdom did belong to this world,
my attendants would be fighting
to keep me from being handed over to the Jews.
But as it is, my kingdom is not here.”
So Pilate said to him, “Then you are a king?”
Jesus answered, “You say I am a king.
For this I was born and for this I came into the world,
to testify to the truth.
Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”

The angels said this message is good for everyone. Christ Jesus’ kingdom is here, now. Do not reject the Word of God , the Solemnity of the Lord is a special feast because it recognizes Jesus as the Sovereign Most High with God, over all of God’s Kingdom – including the universe- which is God made. The Angel Team

Jesus is the Truth. The ultimate Word of God who was made flesh as His Son to reveal God’s Truth and not to seize political power. The power of Jesus’ Kingdom is the strength of God’s Holy and Perfect Love, far greater than the authority of anyone who sends him to execution. The Living Truth stands to be unrecognized in the flash before Pilate, but embraced by those who listen to Jesus’ voice.  – See reference below
