Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With love and gratitude, here is the Gospel of Matthew 21: 1-11 in honor of Palm Sunday.
When Jesus and the disciples drew near Jerusalem
and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives,
Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them,
“Go into the village opposite you,
and immediately you will find an ass tethered,
and a colt with her.
Untie them and bring them here to me.
And if anyone should say anything to you, reply,
‘The master has need of them.’
Then he will send them at once.”
This happened so that what had been spoken through the prophet
might be fulfilled:
Say to daughter Zion,
“Behold, your king comes to you,
meek and riding on an ass,
and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.”
The disciples went and did as Jesus had ordered them.
They brought the ass and the colt and laid their cloaks over them,
and he sat upon them.
The very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road,
while others cut branches from the trees
and strewed them on the road.
The crowds preceding him and those following
kept crying out and saying:
“Hosanna to the Son of David;
blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord;
hosanna in the highest.”
And when he entered Jerusalem
the whole city was shaken and asked, “Who is this?”
And the crowds replied,
“This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter Sunday. The Sunday before Holy Week. Here we have Jesus entering Jerusalem. Jesus had asked his disciples to untie the colt and ass, and gave them very specific directions, which the disciples followed. Jesus knew they would be approached by bystanders and gave the disciples instructions on what to do. Jesus has the words of Life. Everything He says is filled with profound wisdom. The apostles followed exactly what Jesus had asked, which is an example we should all follow.
Entering Jerusalem, he was instantly recognized as the Messiah, the coming of the Lord- which was revealed to the people by the Holy Spirit. These people celebrated his very presence, again, leading in example for us all.

I’m Catholic and will be attending Palm Sunday. I’m asking for a prayer for my Grandmother Leonor Martinez who resides in Fellsmere,Fl. I’m asking for a Healing and Soon recovery prayer for her. Dr. has said only has one month but I’ve seen miracolous changes n now is walking. I don’t want her to have pain and it hurts me and her Family to see her decease in pain she is an amazing human she is very devoted to mass and now with dimentia she says she has stop believing for the rough roads Life has given her she lost her younger n closest sister Annita and separation rom my grandfather 8 years ago bcuz of his mental illness and hate to separate from him harming her.

I will pray with you and so will her angels as well as your angels. In fact , all of Heaven will be happy to pray for her and your family. She isn’t alone- the Lord is with her. The angels want you to feel peace and they will be with you now as you/we pray; as well as endlessly be by your and your grandmother’s side because they really love her (and you!). What a blessing you are to your grandmother and vice versa. You both are very loved and with Heaven’s prayers. The Lord is with you both. Blessings to you for writing.
