“Receive The Holy Spirit…”

Jesus embraceAwhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With love and in the Lord’s Peace, here is the Gospel of John 20:19-23. JN 20:19-23

On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the doors were locked, where the disciples were,

for fear of the Jews,
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,

“The Peace of Jesus is the Love of God Incarnate in the Flesh. The Love of God is with you, and that of His Son Jesus. Jesus is with you even now, as He appeared to His Disciples and breathed His Love in Truth which is Divine, and is in you!  Trust in the Lord now and always and spend time with Jesus in your heart as often as you are able. In truth Jesus’ Spirit that was shared with all, is with you in your heart. Lift your heart to Him we say! Spending time with Jesus in every moment is our guidance. As the Lord is always listening, and is with you as you are reading this, and he always will be. We love you and we are with you now and always. We are the Heavenly Host and we love you. We are always available in any moment, and so it is, amen, amen, amen.”

(this is an excerpt from a Homily from Father Mike in Albuquerque, NM at Prince of Peace Church I wanted to share- and assisted with he angels) When Jesus spoke the Words of “Peace be with you…” The “Peace” Jesus spoke of was not a “peace” such as “peace and quiet.” Rather, this Peace comes from the Greek language which means “of Divine Joy”.  “Spirit” translated from Hebrew meaning “Life,” and so, where it is written that Jesus breathed on them and spoke the Words, “Receive the Holy Spirit;” this is a “Divine Life Breath” of Eternal Peace. This Authority was given to Jesus to give to the Apostles as a “Divine Life Breath” as Jesus said “Receive the Holy Spirit” which is translated as “The Perfect and Infallible Spirit of God” . This was also to fulfill what is written  in John 15:26 “When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me.”
