“Whoever Receives Me, Receives the One Who Sent Me”

Jesus love 2Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With Love and in the Peace of the Lord, here is the Gospel of Matthew 10:37-42. MT 10:37-42

Jesus said to his apostles:
“Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me,
and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
and whoever does not take up his cross
and follow after me is not worthy of me.
Whoever finds his life will lose it,
and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

“Whoever receives you receives me,
and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet
will receive a prophet’s reward,
and whoever receives a righteous man
because he is a righteous man
will receive a righteous man’s reward.
And whoever gives only a cup of cold water
to one of these little ones to drink
because the little one is a disciple—
amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward.”

Jesus is asking us to place God first, and invites us to Him in all matters.
“Ask for Jesus and God and spend time with the Most High. Ask for Jesus in all matters and lift your heart to Him, for by doing so, this will always increase in Heavenly Peace. Jesus has the Words of Life, the Living Word when sown, increases in Heavenly Peace, it nurtures, strengthens and lift every heart when it is spoke. In this, the New Life in Jesus and in God, when the Word is acted upon is Eternally Peace filled . And all of Heaven will rejoice, as the Word is acted upon. For in believing in God first and placing God’s Word above all matters, you will inherit the Kingdom as an heir of  God, and disciple, apostle, and sister/brother of Jesus as you act in faith and sow even the smallest act of service within God’s Kingdom. As you lift your heart to God, ask for His Son Jesus and spend time with the Most High.  As you do this, His Peace will always ensue.” ~channeled by the angels

As we receive Jesus, we believe that He is the Son of the Most High, whom God has sent. And in believing, for God sent His Only Son that whomever should believe in Him, shall inherit Eternal Life – we receive the Promises of Salvation.
This Gospel first reflects on Placing Jesus and God first in everything we do. As we ask for God and Jesus in our daily lives, we receive New Life and Spiritual Communion; and a Joy which can only be found in Jesus Christ, whom God has sent. As we do this, we are receiving God as we receive Jesus, for they are One.
As we share in His Good News, we sow The Living Word- and great is the reward for those who receive it-for Jesus Loves as we do this!

We, the holy children of God shall inherit a reward of the prophets, if we even so much as offer a glass of water to His Prophets, or a righteous reward, should we act on His Words and offer a glass of water to His “sent”.
How much more will we receive, when we ask for Jesus, His Holy Son, believing that God has sent Him? A New Joy that will be rejoiced over in Heaven, and on Earth. For God loves as we ask for Him, in faith, believing in His Son and acting upon the Living Word given to us by His Holy Son, Jesus Christ.
