Contemplative Scripture

When you read the gospels, or scripture, read a chapter or a paragraph once slowly. Notice any words or phrases that seemingly “call out” to  you. Even if only one word. Then , read it again. A second time. Notice this time, if the same word or phrases seem to “jump” out at you or “call your attention”, or if different. This is the beginning of learning to listen to “inner knowing” or learning to listen to the Holy Spirit, or God’s Voice in Your heart. Read the same chapter or paragraph a third time. Let this time be your prayer. Then , read it over again. A fourth time. Notice how you feel, what words or phrases , if any, are different from the first, second or third. Notice the feeling in your heart, the understanding of the words.

This is insight for God’s children. Stay close to what you read (within the Word), for in those words are life everlasting. They are insight from the Most High , and are a guide for the weary, for the wise, for those that need rest, comfort, peace; they are more than “good examples” – they are Word. Everlasting Word of God, Insight from Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, Light from Heaven, understanding , peace~ and every word acted upon will Glorify your Father in Heaven.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said,[a] ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. Pray Unceasingly

Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18

Pray with absolute faith. Knowing God Provides for every family, every child of God. God understands your situation and your family’s needs. He loves each of you unconditionally and helps everyone who asks of Him. Even those who do not ask, God loves and helps. Pray without ceasing to the Heavenly Father and blessed is he who does with faith and sincerity. God sees all and know that He Loves you and faith works miracles. Pray knowing that God will help you overcome any obstacles, face any challenge, remove any barrier, assist in love, help in faith, restore inner peace, uplift your heart, restore what was taken….love unceasingly, as the Heavenly father loves you. Pray for those who mistreated you. God does not want you to stay in an unhealthy situation, but will help you and direct your steps and guide you to a better outcome. Trust in the Lord, Trust in His Divine and Holy Son, Jesus Christ. Know that with God all things are possible~ in all matters trust in God and your reward will be great. For he rewards those who seek Him. His Goodness is without measure and His Love Endures forever. Consult not your own understanding, but lean on God in all ways, for His ways are Higher in Understanding. Then you will know peace. Trust  Him now, in prayer, thank Him for everything you have, even those you have already thanked him for. Pray without measure as He Gives to you. In Jesus Name.

Do Not Put Your Love on a Shelf- with a Guided Meditation for Staying Centered in Your Highest Self

One of my spiritual teachers always says we do our best spiritual growth in relationship; and the angels often say to not put your love on a shelf, meaning not to put your love on hold and to love with all of your heart in every moment. The angels encouraged me to research spiritual growth and I found a wonderful reference online to which referred to Jesus as the vine and without him we cannot bear fruit: I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. JOHN 15:5

God’s Bounty

The Angels asked me to write on the Gospels on Sundays- so here is the Gospel for Today and a Divinely Inspired Message behind it:

The Parable of the Growing Seed

 Jesus said to the crowds, “This is how it is with the kingdom of God. It is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land, and would sleep and rise, night and day and through it all the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how.  Of its own accord, the land yields fruit, first the blade , then the ear, then the full full grain in the ear. And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, because the harvest has come.”

The Parable of the Mustard Seed

He said, “To What shall we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use to for it? It is like a mustard seed, that when it is sown into the ground, is the smallest of all seeds on Earth. But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of all plants and puts forth large branches so that the birds in the sky can dwell in its shade.

With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as they were able to understand it. Without parables, he did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything in private.

Do Not Let Your Heart Be Troubled… JOHN 14:1

Worry is a form of prayer, it’s just not a very good form of prayer.  One thing you can do to get out of the habit of worrying is to turn it into faith. If you feel yourself worrying about something, start thanking God for helping you with whatever is troubling you. “Thank you God in advance for helping me with  (_______) ” Jesus always reminds me not to let my heart be troubled. In fact his constant message of faith and compassion is throughout his gospels: Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. JOHN 14:1 and also: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Asking For Guidance

Think positive when you are concerned about money. The angels want you to know that everything is a choice and peaceful outcome ensures when you stay focused on the solutions and insight available to you. Ask in prayer for guidance when you heart feels troubled or unsure. The angels can help you daily with action steps that will peacefully guide you to a more prosperous outcome. Stay in alignment with your guidance and follow it without hesitation. These are guidance steps that are sent to you with Divine Timing and know that your outcome will ensure harmony. Sometimes taking those first steps are all that it takes. Step in faith and know you are being guided from the Most High. Begin with prayer, asking for guidance and know the angels will help you. Ask for clear signs if uncertain. The guardian angels are always happy to repeat a message, especially if you aren’t sure you have heard correctly. (Heaven will always repeat it’s messages!)
