“Daughter, Your Faith Has Saved You”

Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays  to the Gospels. With love and gratitude. here is the Gospel of Mark 5:21-43. MK 5:21-43

Jesus

When Jesus had crossed again in the boat
to the other side,
a large crowd gathered around him, and he stayed close to the sea.
One of the synagogue officials, named Jairus, came forward.
Seeing him he fell at his feet and pleaded earnestly with him, saying,
“My daughter is at the point of death.
Please, come lay your hands on her
that she may get well and live.”
He went off with him,
and a large crowd followed him and pressed upon him.

There was a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years.
She had suffered greatly at the hands of many doctors
and had spent all that she had.
Yet she was not helped but only grew worse.
She had heard about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd
and touched his cloak.
She said, “If I but touch his clothes, I shall be cured.”
Immediately her flow of blood dried up.
She felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
Jesus, aware at once that power had gone out from him,
turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who has touched my clothes?”
But his disciples said to Jesus,
“You see how the crowd is pressing upon you,
and yet you ask, ‘Who touched me?'”
And he looked around to see who had done it.
The woman, realizing what had happened to her,
approached in fear and trembling.
She fell down before Jesus and told him the whole truth.
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has saved you.
Go in peace and be cured of your affliction.”

While he was still speaking,
people from the synagogue official’s house arrived and said,
“Your daughter has died; why trouble the teacher any longer?”
Disregarding the message that was reported,
Jesus said to the synagogue official,
“Do not be afraid; just have faith.”
He did not allow anyone to accompany him inside
except Peter, James, and John, the brother of James.
When they arrived at the house of the synagogue official,
he caught sight of a commotion,
people weeping and wailing loudly.
So he went in and said to them,
“Why this commotion and weeping?
The child is not dead but asleep.”
And they ridiculed him.
Then he put them all out.
He took along the child’s father and mother
and those who were with him
and entered the room where the child was.
He took the child by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum,”
which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise!”
The girl, a child of twelve, arose immediately and walked around.
At that they were utterly astounded.
He gave strict orders that no one should know this
and said that she should be given something to eat.

Two of Jesus’ miracles are here, one being interrupted by the other, however both had the common denominator of faith. Many people were pressing on Jesus that day, and with the crowd so great, Jesus could still feel the faith of the woman who touched his cloak to be healed. Jesus can heal anything as this is the Father’s Will – and Jesus’ Authority given to Him from the Father.

Nothing is impossible for God and nothing is beyond His son , Jesus Christ who raises people from the dead, who gives equality to all who believe in Him and follow His Word: man, woman, child, Jew, Christian, Buddhist, black, white- even those who previously did not believe- etc. Jesus’ compassion, mercy, and healing are beyond any limit and trusting in Him and Father goes hand in hand with our faith of asking the Lord for His Divine Assistance in our own daily lives.

“Peace I Leave You, My Peace I Give To You”

Jesus

Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. I had a beloved family member over this Sunday and am just getting this out on Monday. After prayer to God, this time, the angels helped me select the reading.  With Love and Gratitude, here is the Gospel of John 14: 23-29.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me “I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name—he will teach you everything and remind you of all that [I] told you. Peace* I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. You heard me tell you, ‘I am going away and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I And now I have told you this before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe.

“The Kingdom of God is at Hand…”

Awhile back the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With complete love and gratitude, here is the Gospel of Mark 1:12-15 MK 1:12-15

The Spirit drove Jesus out into the desert,
and he remained in the desert for forty days,
tempted by (the unholy enemy).
He was among wild beasts,
and the angels ministered to him.

After John had been arrested,
Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God:
“This is the time of fulfillment.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jesus overcame the power of the enemy and also temptation. The enemy or anything unholy has no power over Christ Jesus and all things are subject to Him – and have to obey His Authority, which comes directly from God. This Authority from God is also inside of you and me, through His Spirit. No matter the denomination. His Holy and Perfect Authority also heals and “casts out all darkness” with It’s Holy Presence. His Sovereign Authority  is True Divine Light and Love and is Brilliant. His Christ Light is in all of us.
When Jesus came to Galilee, announcing the Gospel, this is also known as the “Proclamation of the Kingdom.” Jesus testified that the Sovereignty of God Himself was present- and is He is still present among us all now.
The angels encourage us to invite Jesus every morning to be with you and spend some time with God and Jesus, thanking the Most High for their Holy and Perfect Love for everyone.
In Jesus’ name.
” Your Faith Has Saved You”
Jesus
 Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With love and peace, here is the Gospel of Luke 17:11-19.
As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem,
he traveled through Samaria and Galilee.
As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him.
They stood at a distance from him and raised their voices, saying,
“Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!”
And when he saw them, he said,
“Go show yourselves to the priests.”
As they were going they were cleansed.
And one of them, realizing he had been healed,
returned, glorifying God in a loud voice;
and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.
He was a Samaritan.
Jesus said in reply,
“Ten were cleansed, were they not?
Where are the other nine?
Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?”
Then he said to him, “Stand up and go;
your faith has saved you.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jesus is headed toward Jerusalem and the destiny that awaits him there, yet he never fails to respond to the needs of others. Often Jesus touches those He heals, but his time he simply orders that the Samaritans show themselves to the priests. The ten follow Jesus’ command and suddenly discover they were healed “as they were going.”

The ten had demonstrated faith by calling out to Jesus and addressing him as “master.” But when only one returns, it genuinely disappoints Jesus (that the other nine had not returned) and Jesus has an admiration of the (one) foreigner’s faith that had returned. Jesus expected the ten to return because he wasn’t finished with them. Their return would have bolstered the faith of the crowds that followed him. The nine settled for too little, for if they had returned, they too would have received the far greater gift he gives the Samaritan; the promise of Salvation. [see reference below]
