“I Am With You Always…”

Risen

Awhile back , the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With Love and Gratitude, here is the Gospel of Matthew. MT 28:16-20

The eleven disciples went to Galilee,
to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.
When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.
Then Jesus approached and said to them,
“All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God has made Jesus, “Christ over His Glory”. Jesus is announcing His Authority on His Glorification after Ascending to Heaven. Baptism is very profound and spiritual . All of Heaven rejoices with every baptism. With every heart who wishes to be baptized, and with all who baptize, and are baptized in the Good and Holy Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Additionally, Jesus also reminds us that He has never left us. You are never alone and He is always our Spiritual Savior and Brother in the Heaven. We can have faith in walking with Him, now and always as His Words are eternal Spiritual Truth for all.
“If You Love Me, You Will Keep My Commandments”
Jesus
Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospel readings. With love and gratitude, here is the Gospel of John 14:15-21– JN 14:15-21
Jesus said to his disciples:
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always,
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept,
because it neither sees nor knows him.
But you know him, because he remains with you,
and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
In a little while the world will no longer see me,
but you will see me, because I live and you will live.
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father
and you are in me and I in you.
Whoever has my commandments and observes them
is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him and reveal myself to him.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We are never separate from God’s love. When we love the way Jesus loves, we glorify the Heavenly Father and remain in His love. God loves us all and remembering we all have the Light of Christ in us, that we all have the Father’s Love in us, can help each one of us to love without limits.

Blessed Are Those Who Have Not Seen and Believed

Risen

Awhile back the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With Love and Gratitude, here is the  Gospel of John 20:19-31.

On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the doors were locked, where the disciples were,
for fear of the Jews,
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
and whose sins you retain are retained.”

Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve,
was not with them when Jesus came.
So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”
But he said to them,
“Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands
and put my finger into the nailmarks
and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Now a week later his disciples were again inside
and Thomas was with them.
Jesus came, although the doors were locked,
and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.”
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands,
and bring your hand and put it into my side,
and do not be unbelieving, but believe.”
Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me?
Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

Now, Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples
that are not written in this book.
But these are written that you may come to believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,
and that through this belief you may have life in his name.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jesus breathed life into his disciples and into all of us. For we were all given the Holy Spirit and the Light of Christ in our hearts. Faith gets God’s attention, and it is no different for the Son Jesus Christ, who loves us and reigns with God Himself, and is Lord over God’s Kingdom. Jesus, is extremely strong, yet gentle and believing in Him is something He is asking everyone through this conversation with Thomas the apostle. Jesus is still with us today and we can turn to him for anything!  His promises stand throughout time.
Faith moves mountains, and believing in the Savior and knowing that with God all things are truly possible is believing in the One who sent the Lord, and in God’s Spiritual Truth, which will stand throughout eternity.
Do not be afraid
Awhile back , the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospel Readings. With Love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, here is the Gospel of Matthew 28:1-10 as we celebrate this very special and Holy Day. Happy Easter !
After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning,
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
And behold, there was a great earthquake;
for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven,
approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it.
His appearance was like lightning
and his clothing was white as snow.
The guards were shaken with fear of him
and became like dead men.
Then the angel said to the women in reply,
“Do not be afraid!
I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified.
He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said.
Come and see the place where he lay.
Then go quickly and tell his disciples,
‘He has been raised from the dead,
and he is going before you to Galilee;
there you will see him.’
Behold, I have told you.”
Then they went away quickly from the tomb,
fearful yet overjoyed,
and ran to announce this to his disciples.
And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them.
They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage.
Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid.
Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee,
and there they will see me.”
“This Is My Beloved Son, With Whom I Am Well Pleased; Listen To Him”
Transfiguration
Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospels. With Love and Gratitude, here is the Gospel of Matthew 17:1-9
Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother,
and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
And he was transfigured before them;
his face shone like the sun
and his clothes became white as light.
And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them,
conversing with him.
Then Peter said to Jesus in reply,
“Lord, it is good that we are here.
If you wish, I will make three tents here,
one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
While he was still speaking, behold,
a bright cloud cast a shadow over them,
then from the cloud came a voice that said,
“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased;
listen to him.”
When the disciples heard this, they fell prostrate
and were very much afraid.
But Jesus came and touched them, saying,
“Rise, and do not be afraid.”
And when the disciples raised their eyes,
they saw no one else but Jesus alone.
As they were coming down from the mountain,
Jesus charged them,
“Do not tell the vision to anyone
until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jesus had taken Peter , James and John to strengthen their faith for what was to come. In this reading, Jesus leads the three disciples to a mountain, which at the time was a common place to go to speak to God, to engage in prayer/fasting, and possibly where one could see visions, or hear the Voice of God. When God gave Moses the Old Law,  this was also done on a high mountain where Moses fasted for 40 days and 40 nights.

On the way, Jesus was suddenly transformed or transfigured before them, and his face and clothes shone upon them with the Glory of God.  Suddenly, in this vision  Moses and Elijah appear from Heaven to converse with Jesus. Moses, representing the Old Law, and Elijah, representing the Prophets. Jesus, was there in the full Glory of God, as God’s True Son, as the New Law that fulfills the old and as the King of all the Prophets.  The disciples, were also in witness to God’s Voice, letting them know that this was truly God’s Holy Son and to listen to Him.

Such would strengthen these Disciples’ faith as soon, the Lord’s Passion would be upon them.

In Jesus’ Name.

“…Be Perfect, Just as Your Heavenly Father is Perfect”

Jesus

Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospel Readings. With Love and gratitude, here is the Gospel of Matthew 5:38-48  MT 5:38-48

Jesus said to his disciples:
“You have heard that it was said,
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil.
When someone strikes you on your right cheek,
turn the other one as well.
If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic,
hand over your cloak as well.
Should anyone press you into service for one mile,
go for two miles.
Give to the one who asks of you,
and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow.

“You have heard that it was said,
You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father,
for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,
and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?
Do not the tax collectors do the same?
And if you greet your brothers only,
what is unusual about that?
Do not the pagans do the same?
So be perfect, just as your Heavenly Father is perfect.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is not enough to love those that are similar to you. Jesus asks us to pray for those who are not acting in righteousness.
“God, in turn , who is perfect will see this and He , who is Merciful will repay you with Heavenly Wages.” -channeled from the Angels
Let your ‘Yes’ mean ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ mean ‘No’…
Jesus
Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospel Readings. With Love and gratitude, here is the Gospel of Matthew  : MT 5:17-37
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away,
not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter
will pass from the law,
until all things have taken place.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments
and teaches others to do so
will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments
will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses
that of the scribes and Pharisees,
you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
“You have heard that it was said to your ancestors,
You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.
But I say to you,
whoever is angry with his brother
will be liable to judgment;
and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raqa,’
will be answerable to the Sanhedrin;
and whoever says, ‘You fool,’
will be liable to fiery Gehenna.
Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar,
and there recall that your brother
has anything against you,
leave your gift there at the altar,
go first and be reconciled with your brother,
and then come and offer your gift.
Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court.
Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge,
and the judge will hand you over to the guard,
and you will be thrown into prison.
Amen, I say to you,
you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.
“You have heard that it was said,
You shall not commit adultery.
But I say to you,
everyone who looks at a woman with lust
has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
If your right eye causes you to sin,
tear it out and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one of your members
than to have your whole body thrown into Gehenna.
And if your right hand causes you to sin,
cut it off and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one of your members
than to have your whole body go into Gehenna.
“It was also said,
Whoever divorces his wife must give her a bill of divorce.
But I say to you,
whoever divorces his wife –  unless the marriage is unlawful –
causes her to commit adultery,
and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
“Again you have heard that it was said to your ancestors,
Do not take a false oath,
but make good to the Lord all that you vow.
But I say to you, do not swear at all;
not by heaven, for it is God’s throne;
nor by the earth, for it is his footstool;
nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
Do not swear by your head,
for you cannot make a single hair white or black.
Let your ‘Yes’ mean ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ mean ‘No.’
Anything more is from the evil one.
God doesn’t change. People may change, but God never changes. God’s Goodness is is given to us daily through God’s Love , through the Holy Spirit. When God says something, it stands throughout time and space and is eternal because God’s words are just. Jesus is the actual Living Word of God; and teaches us of the Spirit of the Law. Jesus came to fulfill the law by teaching us about the Divine Love of God, and holding us to the standard of the Greatest Gift of God , which is Love. Love for God and Love for His people.
By ‘settling with your opponent’ – “Jesus insists that a damaged or broken relationship with other members of the community prevents the union of Love, so reconciliation must come first as the beginning of true worship. Jesus’ command also prohibits lustful desires. The proverbs call for exercising body parts that seem to be the source of sin, are not meant literally. They are concrete examples insisting that whatever leads to sin, no matter how cherished, must be surrendered. Additionally, regarding divorce, Jesus asks us to uphold a much higher ordeal than found in Mosaic Law. Some rabbinic schools of thought (at the time) allowed a man to divorce his wife for minimal reasons, including lack of cooking skills. But Jesus allows divorce for only one reason, if the marriage is unlawful. ” [see reference]
Love is the answer and true fulfillment of God’s Commandments. If we Love God with all of our heart, we automatically honor the first three commandments, which are in reference to God. The next seven commandments would equally be fulfilled when we choose to truly love each other with all of our hearts. For if we truly love each other, how could we act against each other?
Jesus understands the Human condition, and Human nature, but was sent to teach with full Divine Understanding of the Love of God, who sent Him. The Law is written in our hearts with Love and God sends His Holy Spirit to be with us in our hearts. God asks us to act from Love, and you will be seen with Heavenly Treasures.
In Jesus’ Name
