“Peace Be With You…”

Jesus embrace

Awhile back, the angels asked me to dedicate Sundays to the Gospel readings. With love and gratitude, here is the Gospel of John 20:1-23 on this special Pentecost Sunday .   JN 20:19-23

On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the doors were locked, where the disciples were,
for fear of the Jews,
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
and whose sins you retain are retained.”

We are all in His Peace when we walk with the Lord, and when we focus upon him in our hearts.

God had glorified Jesus, giving Him authority over all of His Kingdom, including the ability to send the Holy Spirit. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are One in each other. Jesus is One in God and God is in Him and  it is in through the Holy Spirit, that we ourselves are also able to share in this Matrimony of the Lord. Making us one in Christ, one in God one in the Holy Spirit. This is why it is so important to love. God is Love and when we remain in His love we remain one in the Father, and the Son And the Holy Spirit- and His Authority.

We can hold steadfast to the Divine Peace that Jesus shares with us. Not peace as we know it, but Divine Peace that surpasses all human understanding, and ask for the Divine Understanding and Divine Wisdom that enables us to use our God-Given Authority, Peace, Love, Gifts, Abilities -in the highest way possible that Glorifies God the Father, who blesses us- so we can go forth in His Authority.  “Peace be with You” is one of the Lord’s Divine Gifts and Promises. By focusing on His Holy Name and Inviting Him into our hearts, we can feel His Eternal Love and Peace, that we are never separate from.

In Jesus Name
